Web Designer (HTML, CSS, PHP, PhotoShop)
Full Time office based: Cheadle Hulme, Stockport

SALARY (neg. based on experience)

The business is successful and regularly recruiting and expanding our internal team. This current vacancy exists in the:

INTERNET / MEDIA DEPARTMENT
FULL TIME Web Designer  – (fast paced, challenging environment, friendly)

Our internet section write, build and optimise our internal and client websites.

Role:

Working as part of an expanding team you will be responsible for all website layout, visuals and usability for a variety of projects
with some development of new sites and maintenance improvements to existing websites.

Essential:

Working knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, photoshop, gimp or other graphical packages
Knowledge of PHP / W3C, Java
Experience in previous Web Designer Role
Understanding of SEO

Beneficial:

JavaScript
ASP
Knowledge of database technologies
Experience of Facebook application & development / social media
Ecommerce experience
SQL

The successful Web Designer will be expected to:

Offer solutions and options for website issues, we love ideas
Ensure design/development projects meet the company guidelines and deadlines
be responsible for layout, visual appearance and usability of various websites
